It is an exciting day in the Nance family. Bryce graduated from college this morning with a degree in Environmental Science. And per usual tradition, I once again missed his graduation.
This seems to be a running joke in out family. In 2008 when Bryce graduated high school, I was off at Disneyland ringing bells with Tintabulations as part of a summer road trip. Now in 2013 I’m writing this from backstage at the beautiful Cal State Long Beach theater waiting to go on with Sonos Handbell Ensemble instead of attending Bryce’s graduation. Apparently the handbell gods don’t want me to attend my brother’s graduation.
So instead, I get to write a blog post about him and share this adorable picture his girlfriend sent me. Congratulations Bryce!!!
In celebration I’m breaking from the Christmas music. Here is the Kinjo Gakuin University Handbell Choir performing “Pomp and Circumstance No.1” by Edward Elgar and arranged by William H. Griffin.
Tune back in tomorrow for more Christmas music.
