O Come, O Come, Emmanuel – Day 9 of Handbell Advent

Reason # 349 why I love playing handbells: everywhere I go, I have a good pair of gloves in my car.
This weekend Tintabulations had the thrill of playing three performances with the Reno Philharmonic (what?! Reno has a philharmonic?!) and along with the concerts came graduation, parents in town, and a large winter storm! The whole weekend, my trusted Under Armor handbell gloves kept my hands warm every time I forgot my actual winter gloves. So here is to all of the times our bell gloves substituted for winter gloves.

Anyways. Tangent over. Here is today’s selection!

Our home group Tintab has fallen in love with this arrangement of “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel” arranged by Sandra Eithum. These days we perform a processional playing the melody on chimes carrying candles: very effective.
