O Holy Night – Day 1 of Handell Advent

Posted By Derek Nance on Dec 1, 2013 |

So we have reached that time of year again.  Snow is in the air, tress are sprouting in everyone’s homes, and everyone starts being interested in your handbell concerts.  Yes, the holiday season is both the joy and the vain of every bell ringer’s calendar.  Here on the blog we attempt to shield you our reader from the overflow of holiday themed handbell music, but the time has finally come to let lose the gates holding back 17 gazillion arrangements of “Carol of the Bells”.  For the next 25 days we will be posting a new video of holiday music to help you count down the days until we can move on from the “Fa-la-la-las” and “Ding Dongs” that we have all been practicing since August.
To start us off, here is a beautiful arrangement of “O Holy Night” performed by the group Campanelli somewhere in Europe.
